j-a-r-h-e-a-d: It’s amazing how once they take that first step as a Marine, before all the family, mom, dad, sister, brother, wife’s, girlfriend, boyfriends, etc. come running out to finally reunite themselves with their new Marine-They all take that final step together, they turn around, seeing each other and quickly take a second to congratulate each other. For these were the men and women they lived basically hell with for the passed 3 months. They conquered and achieved together. There’s probably no better feeling than to be part of such a brotherhood. Love this.
